S355 steel is a high-strength low-alloy European standard steel covering four of the six "Parts" within the EN 10025 – 2004 standard. With minimum yield of 50,000 KSI, it meets chemical requirements and has physical properties similar to ASTM A572. This is the industry standard material used for many buckets and attachments worldwide.
Within our extensive range however, many of our products will consist of varying materials with differing thicknesses and wearing capabilities. These include, but are not limitied to, HB500 (heat treated), HB450 (heat treated), HB400 (heat treated), HB290 (standard) and HB240 (standard).
In many of of heavier duty Hardlife branded attachments, we use genuine Hardox® steel from SSAB - the world renowned leader in quality grade steel for wear part products.
Our Hardlife attachments are all CE marked - conforming with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).
